Ian Jensen

Ian grew up in the small town of Centerburg, about an hour north of Columbus. Known as the geographical center of Ohio, Centerburg was where his athletic journey began. He started playing golf in the 7th grade and throughout school also participated in basketball, baseball, and track.
After graduating high school, he attended the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a degree in Sports Administration in 2018. It was during his time at UC that he met his wife, Summer. They now live in Miamisburg with their two-year-old son, Sawyer—who already has a golf club in hand, and their newborn son, Sutton.
Following graduation, he began his career as an Assistant Professional at Walden Ponds Golf Club and was soon promoted to Head Golf Professional. After several years there, he transitioned to Maketewah Country Club, spending two seasons as an Assistant Professional with a primary focus on the junior golf program. During this time, he continued his PGA education toward becoming a PGA Member and earned certification through the Titleist Performance Institute.
He is now excited to join the Sycamore Creek Country Club family and looks forward to meeting its members and building lasting connections.
